Prism coupling refractometer "RIP-01"
Not only can hard samples like glass be measured, but measurements of soft gel-like samples are also possible!
The "RIP-01" is a refractive index measurement device using the prism coupling method. It determines the refractive index by measuring the critical angle of total reflection when the sample is closely adhered to the bottom surface of the reference prism. The light source can be equipped with two types of semiconductor lasers as standard, allowing for the measurement of not only hard samples like glass and acrylic but also soft gel-like samples. The reproducibility of the total reflection angle measurement is 0.02 degrees for glass with good coupling properties. The angular resolution of the refractive index derived from this is less than 0.0005. 【Features】 ■ Measurement possible regardless of sample hardness or viscoelasticity ■ Drive mechanism with minimal backlash for the sample stage rotation ■ Achieves good reproducibility in angle measurement performance ■ Light source wavelength can be selected from various semiconductor lasers and He-Ne lasers ■ Simple and easy operation through a user-friendly PC interface *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
